About her
I'm a bright and kind person who is fun to spend time with - or so I am told.
I moved out of London four years ago and I love my new home in a market town in north Wiltshire. I've spent many a happy hour renovating my house but I'm glad that it's now as finished as an old place can ever be.
I'm an avid reader (I read almost any newspaper put in front of me!) and love theatre, galleries, concerts - so am really enjoying discovering what's on locally in Bath, Oxford and Cheltenham in particular as well as returning to London for top ups of urban energy and culture. I very much enjoy walking both in the city and the country - it's a wonderful way to explore and there are fabulous walks pretty much from my front door. I'm also learning how to pot.
I retired a few years ago from a very busy job which involved a lot of travel especially to the US. Now I'm enjoying helping deliver a local festival and chairing an education charity. Having more leisure time with friends and family is tremendous, but I miss the warmth and connection of a partner.

I'd like to meet someone who is bright, energetic and interested in life and has the time to spend forging a new friendship. Someone who has complementary values to me and who is realistic about life and attraction in their 60s.
It would be good to have some interests in common, but I'm happy to join in new things -though I'm unlikely to accompany you on a sky-dive! A deal breaker for me would be dishonesty - though quite how you can tell from a profile, I'm not sure!
