About her
I was born and raised in Glasgow before moving to Fife in 1988. I married that same year and divorced in 2000. I have two wonderful daughters and three gorgeous granddaughters
Now, however, life looks a little different. My daughters have their own lives, and my granddaughters—aged 20, 16 and 14—don't need their old Nana quite as much as they once did.
Fifteen years ago I cared for my mum until she died, and from 2014 until 2024 I cared for my dad, particularly during his final years. It was an absolute privilege to do so.
After all of that, I found myself asking, "What now?"
Chronologically, I may be 61, but mentally I'm convinced I'm about 25. Like many people our age, I occasionally wonder where all those years disappeared to.
I love crafts and creative projects, especially jewellery making, card making and upcycling, although I cannot draw a straight line to save myself.
Humour is hugely important to me. I love to laugh, and I enjoy people who don't take themselves too seriously. I have a whole entire repertoire of jokes.
I also come with two beloved Bichon Frisés. Ironically, I'm allergic to dogs, but because Bichons don't shed, these two wee darlings get to stay.
As for what I'm looking for, I'd like to meet someone warm, kind, loyal, intelligent, and funny. Someone who enjoys conversation, doesn't live in the pub, and is happy to take things slowly. This is my first time on dating sites,

After years of living a wonderfully busy and chaotic life, I now find myself with more quiet time than I'm used to. I'm not looking to rush into anything serious, but it would be lovely to have someone to enjoy dinner with, go to the cinema with, share a laugh with, and perhaps help me zip up my dress and fasten the occasional bracelet or necklace.
I would like to meet someone who likes a laugh. To me, humour is everything. Someone who is kind and someone who could spoil me lol I am allergic to dogs, which is possibly a problem for some of you unless it's a hypoallergenic dog.
I don't want somebody who is mean and broody. I want someone who is outgoing and funny.
