I am a warm and social person who enjoys the small things in life as well as the wider world.
I am quite a strong and independent person and have a wide circle of friends and various interests, but really miss having a significant mature man in my life following the death of my husband seven years ago.
I had to retire early from being an NHS Manager due to health issues and have since become involved in my local community, wildlife gardening, environmental causes and two choirs. My younger son, aged 20, still lives with me, while my older son has set up his own home.

I don't have a 'type' as such. I appreciate that no-one can know at the beginning if things work out, but I am looking for a serious committed long-term relationship. I would like to meet a man who is confident and happy in his own skin, has good self-awareness, relationship skills and emotional intelligence. Someone with shared values about tolerance, respect, leading a meaningful live, living relatively sustainably, a foodie, loving nature, socializing, has a sense of humour, enjoys music, dancing and a bit of travelling. I would prefer someone who is also a parent, as family and my kids, even as adults, matter a lot to me.
